The Peak District - scenery that will take your breath away. A wild, rocky landscape, interwoven with caves, cliffs and historic towns, make it a place with something for everyone.

It draws many that enjoy the great outdoors as there are countless paths that weave through valleys and climb over moors. The village of Edale is the start of the 250 mile Penine Way, one of Britains best loved footpaths. Why not see for yourself some of its beauty?

Riding and Trekking are popular ways to see the varied landscape. Many centres are available, offering rides for those of all ages and ranges of ability, you just have to decide which exciting route to take! Within the Peak National Park there are activity centres that offer abseiling, rock-climbing and canoeing, so as you can see there is never a shortage of things to try!

Chatsworth House is one of Britains most glorious examples of manor houses. The house itself is a treasure collection and the glorious garden invites you to wander through its serene habitat. The woodland adventure playground adds to it being a great family day out. The National Trust has details for Chatsworth and many other historic buildings within the district.

So why not take your car and set off exploring this exciting part of Britain for yourself!
